I know I could never honour the man as his achievements are too vast and too big.
Plus, I’m not one for writing long winded obituaries, it’s not in my nature at all to be honest, but if there’s one thing I must admit is that I loved Terry Pratchett.
The man created a world of interesting characters, objects and some of the best stories that a little 11 year old me loved. Be it from the idea of “Equal Rites” where he poked fun at sexism, to policing of the Watch with Sam Vimes attempting to stop a Dragon in “Guards! Guards!” or to the majestic idea of Death living his life in “Reaper Man”. The man influenced me and how stories were told and I remember playing the games fondly as well.
However, there’s one thing I can be sure of, Sir Pratchett has gone which is gutting beyond belief. I can be certain though that he’s with Death enjoying the view of Great A’tuin.
