So my recent bargain pick up has become a hiccup, slightly. While it worked wonderfully for a few days, the PS3 started failing to read discs. I tried all the various software procedures before having a look inside the unit. It’s was a filthy mess, and unfortunately it still didn’t work correctly. However, this is how and what I did.
It will get fixed…. somehow.
