A short video of pretty much the only decent remaining arcade in Bournemouth which is at the front of the main pier (“Pier Approach”), filmed on holiday in August 2014. Sadly not much retro there as expected! The best retro you’ll get is the two remaining working pinball tables!
Shame, I have such fond memories of the Bournemouth arcades – going there pretty much every year as a kid up until the mid to late 1990’s.
I forgot to mention that actually on the pier there used to be a larger arcade that I swear was there up until 2 years ago, but that’s also now sadly gone.
There may be other arcades in Bournemouth, I remember one being further in near the gardens and theatre but didn’t make it there, similarly there’s probably still one near Boscombe pier going further out.
