Review and longplay / walkthrough for “Shadow Warriors” (also known as “Ninja Gaiden” in the US) on the Amstrad CPC!
A fairly popular scrolling beat-em-up that was just above the average run-of-the-mill of it’s type, but more well known is the whole Ninja Gaiden series it spawned over the consoles right up to present day.
The conversion of which was pretty successful at the time, but to average-poor reviews in the magazines on the Amstrad. I’ve put this off for a long time because I found it so frustrating and tedious initially – however when you work out the gameplay it’s starts to become more a little more enjoyable and it’s fairly faithful to the coin-op original…
