Finally…after months of putting it off, it begins. This is the first of three videos covering Tomb Raider! The whole thing – a gigantic look at one of gaming’s most famous icons.

This first video mainly looks at the first five PS1/PC games – Tomb Raider, Tomb Raider II: Starring Lara Croft, Tomb Raider III: Adventures of Lara Croft, Tomb Raider IV: The Last Revelation, and Tomb Raider V: Chronicles. But if we did nothing but just go through the games in order, it wouldn’t be much of a Kimble review, would it? So have loads of other stuff! Before everything, you can see everything that led up to the PlayStation changing the world! There’s a huge examination of Lara Croft as a cultural figure, feminist icon, and sex symbol! The male gaze is discussed! There’s clips of Lara “in real life”! An absolute ton of 90’s commercials! A clip from the largely unremembered Tia Carrere vehicle “Relic Hunter”! And a special guest cameo from no less a group than bloody U2!
