The A-Z continues with an old and mostly forgotten arcade game based on an old and mostly forgotten film. It’s quite good, though! The game that is, not the film…it might not be the most high-profile entry in the list, but it’s not a bad one on the whole.

There’s some stuff that people will recognise in the honourable mentions – few licensed games are as major and as ambitious as Kingdom Hearts, a PS2-era series of RPG’s that paired Square characters up with Disney legends…however, a 60-odd hour RPG is much too large to cover in detail here. Kato-chan and Ken-chan is a very silly and entertaining platformer for the PC Engine that’s worth checking out, and KISS: Psycho Circus is one of the better musical tie-in games out there – a decent FPS. The honourable mentions are rounded off neatly by the perfectly decent Krusty’s Super Fun House and the totally mediocre King Arthur.

The shit room entry today is the first in a trilogy of shit rooms that are based around British Television. Knightmare was odd – a game show for children that was very much inspired by video games. With that in mind, you’d think that it would be quite easy to make some decent actual proper video games out of it…however, the two that are on offer here are somewhat disappointing. They aren’t the worst games we’ll ever see in the shit room, but they’re not good either. Enjoy the video!
