Ordered a YETIBlue Microphone to replace the mic function from all USB mics I am currently using. Also got the Avermedia Live Gamer Portable. Included at the end is some Xbox360 footage that I recorded by pressing the record button on the Avermedia without any configuring or tweaking. Even without tweaking the results were pretty good.
The driver software does Livestreaming to RTMP enabled streaming services like Twitch, Instagib and a whole plethora of other streaming services. It also comes with a free XSplit Broadcaster 3month license. XSplit is a fancy bit of software that enables you to mix capture from all sorts of sources
There is an open source alternative to it which is called Open Broadcasting Software but that does NOT support the Avermedia Live Gamer Portable (Yet).
