Rightio! I went through these all individually on my gauntlet home ports playlist , but heres an ‘all in one comparison video’. Timing links to follow , but heres the ports:
Arcade (for Comparison)
C64
Atari 8 bit
Amstrad CPC
Spectrum
Nes
Dos
Apple II/Apple II GS
MSX (there is an MSX II port out there but its net been commerically released yet afaik)
Sega Mastersystem
Atari ST
Megadrive(released as Gauntlet in Japan and Gauntlet 4 everywhere else)
GBA
PS1/PS2
phew!
I didnt realise it until after I’d done nearly all the ports, theres a similar lets compare video out there http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n68iW1WAucQ from gaminghistorysource which is pretty good, its a slightly different take on the comparisom though!
Background music folks as some of the games recorded audio was a bit off , plus some the ports dont have much audio(sorry purists!)
