[AMSTRAD CPC] NARC – Longplay & Review

Arcade conversion of NARC to the Amstrad CPC – review and longplay/walkthrough.

This crazy ultra violent anti-drugs coin-op was very popular in the late 80’s and wasn’t without it’s fair share of controversy. The message was ‘drugs are bad’, but it’s ok to kill and blow limbs off everyone involved with drugs 🙂 Anyway, we shouldn’t expect anything less from the crazy/genius mind of Eugene Jarvis (Defender, Robotron, Blaster, Smash TV, etc…) and this coin-op was noticeable for being the first machine to be 32-bit and for having the most amount of colours on screen in hi-res.

As for the Amstrad version? Well it’s colourful and well presented…. but as for resolution, smooth playing and responsive action? Hmm…..
