Batman The Movie speed run on one life, on the Amstrad GX4000 console. It’s pretty much exactly the same game that was released a year before on tape/disk on the standard CPC range gaining a nicer title screen, but bizarrely losing the the cool little sound effect on starting levels and gaining a crappy breaking noise for the Batmobile.
Talking of sound effects – I don’t know what’s going on with this game but everytime I try and record this using different codecs the sound fx always goes out of sync!! Annoying, but I’ve given up trying to work out what was wrong. I don’t remember the slow down in the music happening on the original game either.
